Lake Erie Harnesses

 These hand tied crawler harnesses are approximately 36" long and made using 17lb monofilament line.  The single hook harness is made using a single size 2 Mustad Sproat hook.  The double hook has a size 4 Mustad Sproat hook followed by a Mustad Sproat trailer hook in a size 6.  The triple hook has a size 4 Mustad Sproat hook followed by two Mustad Sproat trailer hooks in a size 6.  Seven, 6 mm faceted beads(8 5 mm round beads on the Silver Mayfly) are then placed on the snelled hooks followed by a size 2 folded clevis and a size #3 or #4 smooth nickel (hammered nickel for Confetti and Mass Confusion) spinner blade.  A final 6mm faceted bead is placed to finish the harness.  All pictures are of a double hook, size 4 colorado blade.  Click on color name below to view larger image.
