Steelhead/Salmon/Trout Egg Kit

 

The ACK-Shun Lure Salmon/Steelhead/Trout Egg kit offers the angler 2 different types of eggs, yarn balls and plastic eggs, that can be fished 3 different ways. All of the eggs can be fished with a fly rod or spinning rod, depending on your preference.

The 7mm and the ¼" yarn balls can be fished with a fly rod using a typical nymphing approach, with or without a strike indicator or with a sink tip line. You can also fish these with a fly rod and the "chuck and duck" method. It can also be fished under a float with a noodle rod using spin tackle and non toxic split shot or other weight.

The same goes for the rubber eggs, just match the "bait weight" to your fly rod weight and leader for fly fishing either style. Spin fishermen, on big water, use a noodle (or similar style) rod and float to present these baits to waiting salmon, steelhead, and trout; and in smaller rivers and streams use a trout rod for trout.
